I’ve always thought of myself as one of the lucky ones. When I was growing up I discovered my love for physics, and while I was by no means the brightest in my classes, completing my degree with a specialization in astrophysics was akin to a vocational calling, an experience I think few others can identify with their degrees.
Following completion of my undergraduate career, I find myself pursuing another of my childhood dreams, to live in Japan; this one stemming from six years of trainning in ju-jitsu and four in capoeira. So I’ve decided to take a year or two off from school to live in Nagoya, Japan, working as an English language teacher, while I make preparations for graduate school and explore aspects of a culture that I have already spent years learning about. Of course, earning a little bit of money on the side wont hurt me either =)
Unlike alot of other ‘blogs, I don’t want to have a focus in my writting. Every article I lump into the same category. This is my daily blather, written in the mornings, over tea with toast.
Cheers,
